Statement by the Secretariat of the Supreme National Security Council  on Imposing a Cessation of War on the Zionist Enemy and Its Evil Supporters   Proud and Resilient Nation of Iran, Following the aggression of the Zionist enemy, your brave and courageous sons in the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran responded to the command of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution and Commander-in-Chief and responded with exemplary bravery, crushing every evil of the enemy, the last of which was the American base in Al-Udeid and then the entire occupied territories, which were targeted by missile attacks. The vigilance, timing, resistance, solidarity, and unparalleled unity of you people shattered the enemy's main strategy and provided the opportunity for the steadfastness of the warriors of Islam and their stunning power, which had been built up over years of creative and innovative struggle and continuous pursuit, to be put to use during the 12 days of bloody and managerial struggle and to respond to every aggression in a timely and proportionate manner. The divine gift in return for this deep and meaningful understanding and behaviour of the nation, the strategizing and striving of the warriors, and the wise leadership, was a victory and victory that forced the enemy to regret and accept defeat and unilaterally halt its invasion. Accordingly, it is brought to the attention of the great and heroic nation of Islamic Iran that the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran, without the slightest trust in the words of the enemies and without holding the trigger, will be ready to give a decisive and regrettable response to any act of aggression by the enemy.
